What exactly is Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)?
There are a myriad of definitions out there. For clarity, here is the standard definition used by Pure Ambition: Ensuring that actions throughout the organization are handled in a way that ensures the sustainability of all stakeholders – the company itself, it’s employees, suppliers and the community it serves, from farm to table; from source to use.
Pure Ambition also subscribes to the UN definition of sustainable development: “Development that meets the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs.”
